The VariCam line-up of professional digital video cameras are capable of reproducing stunning imagery in both true 4K and High Dynamic Range (HDR), making them the ideal solution for cinema, television, documentary and live event production.
The flagship VariCam 35 boasts the highest-quality images of the new VariCam Series, and features a dynamic range of 14+ stops of latitude, a wide colour gamut, two native ISO settings of 800 and 5000, and a highly innovative workflow led by dual-codec recording and in-camera colour grading.
The VariCam 35 and the high-speed VariCam HS both feature an innovative, modular design that allows the camera head to be separated from the recording module, enabling users to switch between the Super-35mm native 4K and 2/3-type HD heads depending on the production requirements, supporting both expandability and operating ease.
The lightweight and compact VariCam LT offers a single-body design with the same Super-35mm sensor as the VariCam 35, and features a wide dynamic range of 14+ stops, an expansive colour gamut and high sensitivity for 4K image acquisition thanks to the same dual native ISO settings of 800 and 5000.
The VariCam Pure is the latest addition to the VariCam line-up, and is a camera system that has been designed by both Panasonic and Codex to capture the highest quality images in 4K RAW at up to 120fps thanks to the same sensor found in the VariCam 35 and VariCam LT, and an industry-standard workflow via Codex’s Production Suite.
